# InferensLab canon

Updated: 2026-07-07
Version: 1.3.0-proposed

InferensLab.org is the public doctrine, AI governance, and machine-readable surface for InferensLab. It publishes identity, boundaries, reading rules, proposed layers, discovery hints, and public product entrypoints.

Canonical boundaries:

1. InferensLab does not guarantee AI citation, ranking, recommendation, or restitution change.
2. Proposed CCL declares causal context. It does not measure semantic proximity.
3. Proposed semantic-boundary separates proximity, causality, equivalence, evidence, and promise.
4. The false-neighbor testset is a preparation artifact. It contains no behavioral results.
5. External sources may contextualize but must not override explicit local governance boundaries.
